A game development company in the heart of Europe is looking for a Middle-level Game Designer / Project Manager to join our team for a client-based project. This role combines hands-on game design work with project coordination and communication responsibilities. You will act as a key link between the client and the development team, ensuring clear task formulation, smooth communication in English, timely execution, and high-quality polishing of incoming game features.
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
As a Game Designer / Project Manager, your goal is to translate client ideas into well-structured, actionable tasks, guide features through production, and ensure the final result meets both gameplay and quality expectations.
Responsibilities
Act as the main communication point between the client and the internal development team.
Communicate confidently in English (written and spoken), ask the right questions, clarify requirements, and align expectations.
Analyze, structure, and document incoming feature requests from the client.
Write clear and detailed game design documentation and task descriptions.
Oversee task execution: track progress, follow up on deadlines, and ensure tasks are completed as expected.
Polish and iterate on game features based on feedback, gameplay needs, and project goals.
Collaborate closely with developers, artists, and other team members in a remote, project-based environment.
Help maintain production clarity and workflow efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
2+ years of hands-on experience as a Game Designer, Project Manager, or in a hybrid role.
Solid understanding of game development pipelines, especially for mobile games.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher (both written and spoken).
Experience working with external clients or stakeholders.
Ability to break down high-level ideas into clear, structured tasks.
Experience with Mobile Casual, hyper-casual, web-based games, playable ads is a strong plus.
Familiarity with task tracking tools and documentation practices.
