For which tasks (responsibilities)?
We are looking for a highly talented, and motivated person to work with us on technically challenging, aesthetically compelling, and prominent games.
As a VFX Artist, you’ll focus on designing and building the game effects using native Unreal Engine tools, as well as some external assets and plugins such as Ninja Fluid, Fluid Flux, Ultra Dynamic Sky, and others. You may also perform research in order to find innovative ways to create believable and striking effects audiences have never seen before.
Working with a cohesive game team, you will participate in designing features and content with creators from multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities
Create compelling VFX on Unreal 4/5 for console and PC games. As is the case with the props and locations, VFX should be streamlined versions of reality. They should always be realized by observing real-life phenomena and then reproducing them with the highest fidelity possible but at a level of detail that matches the simplicity of our props and materials.
The kind of VFXs you will be doing
Effects that can produce remarkably different visual outcomes from one iteration to another;
Effects that linger for much longer than seen on average games;
Effects that one can find hard to imagine imagine how we do it.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Mandatory
At least 2 years o Experience with Houdini and its integration with Unreal, procedural pipelines and simulations
Experience with Unreal Niagara particle simulation
Experience with Unreal Material Editor
Conversational English (ability to attend meeting, understand and communcate working related ideas)
Bonus Points (desired, but not mandatory. Every additional item listed here contributes to raise the base salary)
Experience with 3D Modeling (Blender/Maya/Cinema4D)
Experience with PBR (Physical Based Rendering)
Quixel Mixer / Substance
