We're looking for an experienced and highly creative UI/UX Lead who can own the entire design function: set the bar, build the system, and eventually grow a small team under them.
This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of game UX principles, and expert proficiency in Figma.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Own UI/UX across live titles and new games.
Lead ideation and execution of UX flows, wireframes, and final UI assets, collaborating closely with developers, game designers, and artists.
Mentor and provide constructive feedback to UI/UX designers or external contractors.
Present and justify design decisions to stakeholders, utilizing data (where available) and best-practice UX methodologies.
Create comprehensive user flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
Develop and maintain a robust and scalable UI component library/design system within Figma.
Ensure all designs are fully optimized for various screen sizes (mobile and tablet primarily) and maintain accessibility standards.
Work closely with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful implementation of the UI designs.
Contribute to design reviews with a strong point of view.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
4+ years of UI/UX experience, with at least 1-2 in a lead or senior role.
Expert-level Figma. You work fast, you prototype, you hand off cleanly.
Strong mobile game UI portfolio showcasing end-to-end design solutions, including process documentation (wireframes, user flows) and final visual design.
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and mobile application design best practices.
Understands the full loop: from UX problem to shipped feature to retention data.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
English fluency is required.
Location in Europe or Montreal, CA is a must.
Bonus Points
Experience designing for casual mobile games, or digital board/tabletop game adaptations.
A passion for board games or card games.
Familiarity with Unity and the technical constraints of implementing UI/UX designs.
Experience in motion graphics or UI animation design.
Russian fluency is a meaningful bonus with our team.
